Summer Ballet Intensive 2014 – June 16 – June 20

This summer MMDCo is hosting 4 guest artists from all over with various ballet backgrounds to share their expertise with us ! The week will prove to sharpen technique, increase performance quality and professionalism! The experience gained during the week will offer many benefits for the future!

The Intensive includes:

• Partnering (must be on pointe to participate)
• Stretch n strengthen for ballet dancers
• Variations
• Worship in dance
• Q & A with the professionals

Guest Artist

Hannah Krejci
Hannah danced with Ballet Magnificat of Jackson, Mississippi, Ballet Emmanuel of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Kentucky Ballet Theatre of Lexington, Kentucky including 4 years in Ballet Under the Stars. She have been teaching ballet for 11 years, having worked with six different studios. Her goal as an instructor is to help each of her students personally achieve excellence in technical performance and dance ministry.

Christina Tasco
Christina’s resume includes Eisenhower Dance Ensemble, Oakland University Dance Department Faculty and Special Lecturer, National Master Class Instructor, and Detroit Skating Club Olympic And Elite Level Instructor

Kathleen Moylan
Kathleen danced with the Eisenhower Dance Ensemble and is an Oakland University dance department faculty. She was also an Oakland University dance scholarship recipient and cum laude graduate in dance.

Amanda Sekelsky
Amanda is a former Mmdco. student that moved on to bigger things. After leaving Modern Messages she trained at Oakland University. Since then she has instructed at numerous metro Detroit dance studios, was a program project manager for American Ballet Theater’s summer program, and was on faculty with the School of the Grand Rapids Ballet.
